50 bands signed up to participate in the "peaceful on earth music concert". Yes ... that was the theme I used. I hired music studio to do the selection, because the number of participants exceeds the number of participants who can we display concerts. 50 grup band sudah mendaftar untuk ikut tampil dalam konser musik damai. ya ... itulah tema yang saya pakai.
kami menyewa studio musik untuk melakukan seleksi, karena jumlah peserta melebihi jumlah peserta konser yang dapat kami tampilkan.
siapa sangka akupun turut terlibat untuk meyeleksi mereka memberikan penilaianku bersama dua orang juri lainnya.
satu persatu pintu terbuka dan memperlihatkan jalan yang begitu jelas.
Sebuah gedung olah raga berkapasitas 10.000 orang kami dapatkan dengan bebas biaya.
Beberapa sponsor mulai berdatangan memberikan dukungan.
Promosi kami berlanjut, yang awalnya hanya menggunakan lembaran kertas pamflet untuk menarik peserta saat ini kami telah menggunakan spandu-spanduk berukuran besar yang kami pasang di dua kota untuk menjaring penonton.
Dan kami mulai mencetak tiket.
makin semangat.
Beberapa hari menjelang konser kesibukan semakin terasa.
kami semua remaja belasan tahun bersiap-siap melangsungkan sebuah acara yang bagi orang lain menganggap kami tidak mungkin lakukan.
Kesibukan satu hari menjelang konser.
mendekor panggung dengan ukuran panggung stadion olah raga basket ... sementara sebelumnya aku hanya pernah mendekor panggung kecil perayaan hari kemerdekaan Indonesia di tingkat lingkungan tinggalku saja. hari itu aku berhasil membuat ide membuat sebuah dekorasi panggung berbentuk bola dunia dengan ukuran diameter 10 m dengan menggunakan bahan daur ulang. semua menatap dengan mata tak percaya sekelompok anak-anak bergandengan tangan mengelilingi bola dunia itu.

Semua bersiap di pos masing-masing. Aku setengah gemetar setengah melambung di udara. Umbul-umbul selamat datang dan kemeriahan mulai terlihat. 1 kompi polisi bertugas membantu kami menjaga keamanan selama acara berlangsung, 1 mobil pemadam kebakaran bersiap dengan 1 unit mobil dengan tangki air full (aku saat itu tidak mengerti bahwa mobil pemadam kebakaran dengan tangki air penuh adalah satu keharusan dalam penyelenggaraan sebuah konser musik seperti ini)
Acara berlangsung dengan meriah 50 grup band seprovinsi Banten unjuk kebolehan. dengan tampilnya mereka maka tersedotlah pengunjung dan diluar dugaan tiket yang kami cetak sebanyak 3000 lembar habis terjual dan menurut perhitungan akhir jumlah penonton hari itu mencapai hampir 5000 orang.
Bahkan aku sendiri tidak berani bermimpi sejauh itu ...
Tapi hari itu membuat kami semua dan aku membuat mata banyak orang terbuka bahwa kami melihat mimpi kami menjadi kenyataan.
besok harinya acara konser kami dimuat dalam koran lokal, kami bahkan tidak menyadari kehadiran mereka datang meliput.


pesan : jangan pernah berhenti untuk bermimpi ... dan tidak ada yang tidak mungkin selama kita berusaha keras mewujudkannya.
